ABOUT

Our 93-acre estate in the Willamette Valley comprises a polyculture vineyard, orchard, market garden, and herb garden, and residential property.

The Rehnborg Farm is in Helvetia, Oregon, where wildly varied ecological habitats and flora support pollinators for the estate’s vineyards, perennial fruit trees, sundry flowers, and restorative cover crops — and all elements of the living food web are connected, and respected.

By combining historical winemaking practices with experimentation, expertise, optimism, and artistry, we make wines of origin and originality — with the intention of revealing a tangible path towards an illuminated future.

SYSTEMS

We listen to nature at every turn, but the most prominent voice in our dialogue with the vines is data.

We merge science and art to evolve our understanding of how regenerative farming practices connect to soil health, plant health, human health — and, ultimately, to the creation of exceptional wines.

Assorted natural items including a twig with moss, a small pile of black sticks, a mound of brown powder, a white mushroom, a clump of pale green lichen, and a twig with black berries, arranged on a beige background.

We share our experiments, successes, failures, ideas, and the beauty of the estate with our community — with the aspiration of opening a path to a more holistically balanced ecosystem, where farming quantifiably improves the Earth and all its inhabitants.
